WELLBEING

The wellbeing of staff and pupils has an important effect on the quality of the engagement and interactions within our school community, including the receptiveness of pupils as learners. We are a community with strong pastoral support systems, and make it our duty to support students throughout their school life.

SUPPORTING YOUR CHILD

Making sure your child has the correct things for school is so important for their learning. We understand that when pupils are given the right care and tools, they will have the start they deserve. You can support your child with:

  • Reminding them to pack the night before

  • Uniform (The right shoes, trousers, skirts, haricut

  • Checking school diaries

  • Homework

E-SAFETY

We support our students’ use of the internet and seek to underpin their knowledge of safe use and protection by providing an awareness of how to stay safe online both in the school environment and beyond.

Parents can also do the following:

  • Have open, honest conversations

  • Knowing what websites/ images your child are looking at and their passwords

  • Know who they are communicating with

  • Encourage them to share/discuss their social media/gaming with you
